The Busturialdea region is located around the Mundaka estuary, within the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve. It is made up of a complex of dune, marine and mountain landscapes that together comprise a suitable place of residence or temporary stopover for migrating birds and fauna in general.This natural area probably possesses one of the most highly-regarded levels of landscape and ecological diversity in the whole of the Basque Autonomous Region.
