If you wish to get the most out of your visit to any Euskadi Mountain Bike Centre, please heed the following recommendations.
REMEBER TO
· Use a helmet.
· Give priority to pedestrians and respect general traffic regulations.
· Respect signposting of routes and their direction.
· Euskadi Mountain Bike Centres shall not be liable for the improper use of the circuits, nor for any carelessness on the part of users.
· If you get lost, remember that signs are codified using a side panel inscription. Call the Reception Point and/or other assistance services, stating the number on the sign.
WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU
· Obtain a membership card from the Basque Cycling Federation (please request information from staff at the Mountain Bike Centre).
DON´T FORGET TO
· In the event of lack of signposting, continue the circuit along the preferred route.
· Indicate the route you are taking at the Reception Point if you are going to cycle it alone.
· Before leaving, check the state of your bike and find out about the weather and route.
· Don’t forget to always carry water, a repair kit and a mobile phone.
· Don’t underestimate the technical difficulties of the routes and choose them according to your technical and physical capacity.
ENSURE THAT YOU
· Pay attention to forestry and farm work along the routes.
· Are extra careful during hunting periods.
RESPECT YOUR SURROUNDINGS
· Respect fences and close gates after you.
· Respect private areas and cultural and heritage sites.
· Respect farming, livestock and forestry activities, as these constitute the way of life for many inhabitants in the region.
· Respect the environment, the local population and animals.
· Avoid making unnecessary noise. Respect the tranquillity of the surroundings, especially in nesting areas.
· Avoid discarding lighted cigarette butts or matches; this is a thoughtless and highly dangerous act.
· Avoid discarding rubbish in the mountains. Put it in the containers located in the recreational areas or the areas you visit.
